Movies for Runners Who Like Running Movies

by Bill Bean

I have a rather short attention span. Well, more like a little OCD and a little ADD. I can pay attention for a little while, until I see something shiny…or a squirrel…and then it's all over.  So I don’t watch too many movies on TV. Ok, I don’t watch ANY movies.  I'm more geared toward YouTube length stuff, which satisfies my interest in comedy, news, music, and lots of running videos, but in smaller bite-sized videos that my overstimulated brain can manage. But the other night, as I was social distancing in the living room recliner, I thought it would be inspiring to watch a running movie, and maybe I'd be able to sit through the whole thing. Besides, my legs were junk from today's run, so I really wasn’t going anywhere. So I asked my Facebook family and friends for some of their favorite movies having to do with running. The list below includes suggestions for running movies by our running friends. Enjoy.
