HMRRC Mission Statement
The Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club (HMRRC) is dedicated to promoting the sport of distance running
through education and training to promote running as a part of a healthy lifestyle, promoting personal
fitness and community through organizing and managing running events, providing means of communication
among club members and creating opportunities for social activities. We believe in encouraging
participation in running events for individuals of all levels of running abilities and acknowledge that
volunteer participation is a foundation upon which HMRRC exists.
Volunteers Needed for CDPHP WTC
If you are not running in the CDPHP WTC this year, scheduled for Thursday evening May 21st, we would love to have you come and volunteer. The money received from this race supports many HMRRC activities including scholarships and grants, provides members with more than a dozen free races a year and supports the JustRun program. For the CDPHP WTC to be successful, we need over 200 volunteers including course marshals, medical technicians, people handing out water, refreshments and t-shirts as well as supporting various other race day activities. If you can volunteer or have family or friends who would like to volunteer, please contact Pat Cremmins at email@example.com. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and post-race refreshments at the volunteer tent on the Empire State Plaza.
