HMRRC Mission Statement
The Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club (HMRRC) is dedicated to promoting the sport of distance running
through education and training to promote running as a part of a healthy lifestyle, promoting personal
fitness and community through organizing and managing running events, providing means of communication
among club members and creating opportunities for social activities. We believe in encouraging
participation in running events for individuals of all levels of running abilities and acknowledge that
volunteer participation is a foundation upon which HMRRC exists.

2015 Distinguished Service Award
Nominations sought for The Distinguished Service Award (DSA). The DSA is given by HMRRC annually to honor club members who have served the HMRRC with distinction over an extended period of time, typically several years or longer. Qualifications of nominees may include, but are not limited to, an elected officer, member or chair of a standing or ad hoc committee, a staff member or writer for The Pace Setter, a race director or coordinator, a staff member or volunteer who oversees/helps maintain the web site, a volunteer at club functions or races, or an attendee at monthly club meetings. Any member can nominate a candidate for the DSA by submitting a nomination form detailing the qualifications of the candid ate. View the Application Here. Nominations are due by March 1st by mail or in person at the March 11th club meeting.
Mohawk Hudson - Hannaford Half
The Mohawk Hudson River Marathon and Hannaford Half Marathon registration will open on Monday March 2, 2015 at 7am. You can register at http://mohawkhudsonmarathon.com/ . Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club members as of February 17 will receive a ten dollar discount on their entry fee. In order to receive your discount you will be required to enter your Club member ID number at registration and your Name as it appears in Club Database . You can obtain your Name listing and Club ID number by logging into http://members.hmrrc.com/ the members only section of the webpage and click on view profile tab to see your Name and member ID. If you are registered as a family each of you has a distinct club member ID and each of you must use your own club member ID to register. If you plan to register please take the time now to get your Name listing and member ID number because there will be no adjustments made post registration. Last year these races sold out quickly, please consider registering early.

HMRRC Winter Marathon March 1st
The 42nd HMRRC Winter Marathon and Three Person Relay originally scheduled for Feb 15th will now be held on March 1st. The location, times, etc., remain unchanged. See Race Schedule for detail.

Meetings are open to all club members and are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Point of Woods Club House, located at the end of Washington Ave Ext.
