This Sunday is the ARE's inaugural Fall Frun 10K to benefit the Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital. The race starts at 9am at Shenendehowa High School and is on a certified course with plenty of amenities, including ample food, a live band, start mats and split mats, along with dri-fit LS tech-shirts to all runners and 5 year age groups. We are also debuting the use of "QR" Codes on bibs at races in this area - those of you with SmartPhones will literally be able to scan your bib to check your results - instantly!

If you're looking for a race this weekend, we'd love for you to either join us on the start line or behind the scenes as a volunteer. Online registration is $25 through Friday and $30 day-of. We ordered "more than enough" shirts, so even day-ofs should *probably* get too, but we are guaranteeing them to all pre-reg. Volunteers are also needed and all volunteers get really cool knit hats with the event logo on them.

Age groups are 5 year categories up to 80+ and we also have cash prizes to the top 3 M and top 3 F.
