Numb Legs

Recently I've noticed that my legs (calves) are going numb during events. I didn't have this problem in the summer. My last race, I literally felt like I was running on peg legs. I'm going to see a doctor at some point, but anyone have any feedback or suggestions? I was leaning towards compression. Thanks!

Re: Numb Legs

RAS5K,
Although more studies are needed, there is some data to suggest a correlation between the condition you describe and colder temperatures.  One of the more trusted homeopathic remedies is to wear long pants when the temperatures begin to drop.  Hope this helps and keep us posted!

Re: Numb Legs

Mike,
My apologies!  I initially took your comment in jest, thinking that you were being humorous.  On second reading it occurred to me that you were not.  I hope I did not offend.

Re: Numb Legs

I am not a very good person to ask this question to, maybe part of the reason your leg(s) feel so numb is because of running. Sometimes my legs feel very numb from after I have ran far distances?
