House to House Half

3rd HOUSE to HOUSE Half is back. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 at 9 a.m.
Goldberg to Batcher is back. This is a fully supported half-marathon that begins in Guilderland and ends at Thompson Lake. It's an all road group run. The first approx. 8 miles are of moderate difficulty. 8 mile mark through approx. 12 mile mark is up hill - DIFFICULT. The last mile+ is back to rolling (moderate difficulty) hills. All paces are welcome and you may bail out at any time however, to be fair to the volunteers we'll be sweeping the course at 3 hours. Park at the Goldberg's to begin and be shuttled from the Lake back for the BBQ after the run. There will be at least 5 water/gatorade stops w/ snacks. NOTE: "meat", rolls and condiments provided, PLEASE BRING A DISH to share.

Due to felled trees and damage to the start and finish areas; the location has changed.
NOTE NEW LOCATION!
HOUSE to HOUSE will begin and end at Tawasentha Park, Guilderland, Rte 146.
FREE Parking for ARE & HMRRC attendees. Bathrooms available, Pool and showers available for a $3.50 adult price. Run has a completely new 13.1 mile course that flows through Altamont, past the Altamont Orchard/Golf Course. 5 Aid stations positioned along the course, some staffed and some self-serve. All paces are welcome and you may bail out at any time. The ARE van will be monitoring the entire course. We'll be sweeping the course at 3 hours. BBQ begins right after the run. Our BBQ will be at the Tawasentha small pavillion. We will provide the veggie burgers, hamburgers & hotdogs, water & Gatorade.
PLEASE BRING A DISH to share.
