Topic: post-cardiac runners

Message: Benita Zahn, WNYT, is looking to interview some local people who have had cardiac procedures and still run, like me & Chuck. She is going to do a feature around Thanksgiving time of those who have returned to fitness after heart problems. Bypass, pacemaker, valve repair or replacement, ablation, aneurism, etc. If you know of anyone, have them contact me or Benita at BZahn@WNYT.com

Topic: UAlbany Parking warning

Message: I have parked in the lot outside of SEFCU Arena probably 150 times in the last 13 years, for HMRRC races, Barn Loops, indoor and outdoor track workouts, swimming, and even a few NCAA events. Last evening I got a ticket. It's posted 24/7 students and faculty only (I happen to be faculty, but on the East Campus, which doesn't count). This isn't new, but I guess they are choosing to enforce it this year. Be careful!

Topic: 2012 Boilermaker

Message: I am thinking about organizing a bus trip out to the Boilermaker this year. Before I waste time setting it up, is there an interest out there? Particulars regarding it are not finalized but am thinking on the order of picking up packets the day before, dropping runners off at the start then heading down to the finish. Let me know if there is an interest - madams01@nycap.rr.com. Please put Boilermaker in the subject area. Thanks!

Topic: Me and HMRRC

Message: Just checked my race records. The first club race I ever ran was Jan 1st, 1982, meaning I must have joined somewhere before that. So this will mark 30 years in HMRRC for me. Not only that, this will be my 400th race, well over 100 of them HMRRC events at U Albany.

Topic: Syracuse Basketball Tickets for Sale!

Message: I'm a season ticket holder for Syracuse Mens Basketball, however will be unable to attend many of the games due to various reasons. I've had my 2 seats for 4 or 5 years now, but would hate to see them go to waste. I do have many of them posted on Stubhub, in which the bigger games sell rather quickly. I am looking to sell Non Big East games for face value or less if you are interested. My seats are section 114, 9 rows up from the court, and are amazing seats. If you are interested please email me at (washcm@sage.edu). Many of you may know me from directing events at both Hudson Valley Community College and Russell Sage College these past couple years. I already have the tickets on me, and would have no problem meeting up. Look forward to hearing from you. Mike Washcowashcm@sage.edu
